BOSTON, MA – February 25, 2025 – United Dance Company returns with From Boston to New York, a bold and evocative mixed bill featuring three distinct yet interwoven works—The Letter, Sundaey, and From Boston to New York—offering a deeply human exploration of resilience, belonging, and the pursuit of dreams.
At a time when diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts are under scrutiny, United Dance Company makes it clear: representation in the arts is what truly transcends barriers. The company, composed of professional dancers with and without a disability, invites audiences into a world where movement is a force for connection and change.
A Production Rooted in Real Stories

The Letter is an unprecedented collaboration, created by United Dance Company’s artists and their families. It is a deeply personal reflection on parenthood, uncertainty, and the universal desire to give the next generation a world filled with possibility. This piece does not just portray emotions—it embodies lived experiences, offering a rare and profound connection between audience and performer, with a surprise and moving integration embedded into the performance.

Sundaey is a vibrant contrast—a comedic, high-energy piece packed with charm and theatricality. Laughter and levity take center stage, reminding us that joy is just as vital as reflection.

From Boston to New York closes the evening with a journey that is both literal and metaphorical. Set to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, it follows Brady, a young artist pursuing his dream in New York City, capturing the universal experience of ambition, risk, and transformation.
With vivid storytelling, dynamic choreography, and a fully narrated format, From Boston to New York is accessible to all audiences, offering a sensory-friendly experience designed to welcome and engage viewers of every background and ability.
